Books diagnostic $750

For bigger backlogs or tangled files. I review up to 12 months of records, through a QuickBooks accountant invite or bank statements. Within 7 business days you get a one-page scorecard, a prioritized punch list and a 30-minute walkthrough. The full $750 is credited toward your cleanup if you start within 30 days.
Fixed-price cleanup From $1,500

The number I quote is the number you pay. Most cleanups take 3 to 4 weeks once I have full access.

What it asks of you: nothing to prepare. Messy is where we start. I work through everything the records can answer and send you a short, batched list of questions for the rest.

Know your margins

Job tracking going forward, a one-page memo on your margins and cost leaks, and two check-ins about 30 and 60 days after handoff, where we compare your read on the month with the actual numbers.

Guarantee. If your CPA finds an error in my work for the period I cleaned (something miscategorized, unreconciled, missing or duplicated), I fix it at no charge. If your CPA wants things grouped or formatted differently, one round of changes is included. This covers you through the tax filing for that period or 12 months, whichever comes first.

Not included. Tax or legal advice, tax returns, payroll, 1099 and sales tax filings, paying bills or invoicing, and rebuilding job costs for past jobs.

After an attorney advised shutting the business down, I rebuilt five years of imports line by line from incomplete shipping manifests. A custom lookup matched 95% of lines and I resolved the rest by hand, producing a defensible record of every import.

IRS examination

The meeting opened with talk of seizing assets. I pulled further records, connected the threads and walked the agent through them. The position reversed, and the IRS later issued a refund.

Six-figure estate claim

I reconstructed transactions from before my time at the company. The claim was beaten back, and the reconstruction suggested the money had run the other way.
